What Should I wear?


Most students wear leggings and tank tops or t-shirts. If you wear shorts, please make sure they are fitted. Socks with grips on the bottom are popular to help from slipping. If you forget socks, you may purchase a pair at the studio.




Do you have restrooms?


There are 2 restrooms located across the hall from the studio.




Where can I park?


There is street parking on Chicago Ave for $2/hour through the ParkChicago Ap or the kiosk located on the sidewalk. Depending on the time of day, you will find parking on the side streets and there is no fee. We have a parking lot behind the building for $10.




How do I get there with public transportation?


833 W Chicago is located just off the corner of Halsted Ave and Chicago Ave. The 8 Halsted Bus Route drops you off 1 block from the studio. The 66 Chicago Bus Route drops you off right across the street from the studio. The Blue Line exiting at Chicago Ave is about a 3 block walk to the east. The Brown & Purple Lines exiting at Chicago are about 7 block walk to the west.




What if I have to take an important call?


Although we ask you to put your cel phone on vibrate as you enter the studio, we understand that there may be occasions when you will need to pay attention to your phone. Please just be conscious of the other students that may be working out around you and take your call in the hallway.




What if I cannot make it to my lesson / class?


We have strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If your name is in the computer 24 hours before your lesson or class, your account will be debited. If you have to miss due to a true emergency, email PurePilatesChicago@gmail.com or text 312-208-1603 and we will do our best to accommodate you.




How long is my lesson / class?


All lessons and classes are 50-55 minutes unless otherwise stated or special event.




Can I cancel my membership?


On a 3 or 6 Month Membership, there are no refunds or cancelations unless you are moving away 20 miles (or more) or you have a note from a doctor saying you may not continue with Pilates exercises. You may transfer the remainder of your Membership or place it on a “freeze”. With a 6 Month Membership, you may put your Membership on a freeze for 1 month. With a 3 Month Membership, you may put your Membership on a freeze for 2 weeks. In order to be placed on a freeze or cancel, you must come to the studio and fill out a form.




Can I bring my friend?


We love referrals! Yes! Ask your teacher what is the best way to introduce your friend to Pilates. The answer will probably be to schedule a Duet Lesson for the two of you.




Can I bring my kids / grandkids?


Talk to your teacher about what else is going on that hour and you both can make a judgment about your child’s ability to hang out quietly while you workout. There is no babysitting available.

The Romana’s Pilates Training Program is hosted by Rhonda Celenza in Evanston at The Pilates Connection. We work closely with Rhonda to help students prepare to audition for the program.
